Call for Abstracts
Participants are invited to submit original scientific contributions for presentation at the Congress.
- Official language: English
- Abstracts must be submitted exclusively through the official online submission form available on the Congress website. Submissions sent by any other means will not be accepted.

General Terms and Conditions
- Each participant may submit only one abstract as presenting author, but may be listed as co-author on multiple submissions.
- The presenting author is responsible for:
- Ensuring all co-authors approve the content and participation
- Including all authors (name and affiliation) in the correct order
- At least one author must be registered for the Congress.
- The presenting author must complete registration before 1 december 2026.
- Any conflicts of interest and sources of funding must be clearly disclosed.
- Accepted abstracts will be published in the official abstract book.
- Abstracts will be reproduced exactly as submitted; no edits will be made. Authors are fully responsible for content and accuracy.

Abstract Preparation Guidelines
- Title: Maximum 20 words (no abbreviations allowed)
- Abstract length: Maximum 300 words (excluding title, authors, and affiliations)
- Format restrictions:
- No figures or tables allowed

Submissions should align with one of the following thematic areas:
- Technology
- Traits: Yield
- Traits: Quality
- Traits: Extreme Temperatures
- Traits: Extreme Water
- Traits Salinity and Nitrogen Efficiency
- Traits Disease resistance
- Social Aspects Legislation and IP

Types of Contributions
Authors must select one of the following formats:
Oral Presentation
- Total duration: 10 minutes
- 7 minutes presentation
- 3 minutes discussion
- Recommended: maximum of 10 slides
Oral Presentation
- Posters will be presented in printed (paper) format.
- Poster dimensions: 90 x 120 cm (width x height)
- Format: Vertical (A0 equivalent)

Notification and Participation
- Final acceptance or rejection will be communicated from 2 November 2026 onwards.
- Accepted authors will be informed of:
- Presentation format (oral/poster)
- Session assignment

Certificates
- Certificates of presentation will be sent by email to the registered presenting author.
- Certificates will only be issued for contributions that are effectively presented during the Congress.

Final Remarks
- Please read all submission guidelines carefully before submitting your abstract.

- Non-compliance with the rules may result in rejection.
